The first house on these pages is designed by Carl Voorhaar Architect of CAVD in Hengelo The Netherlands. The second house is designed by Anneloes de Koning and me. The third house is made with the commercially available system AXALL. We show you how these houses are erected by adding elements. All these elements work with the sort of technology we have described. The first two houses are designed for contests and were never build. The AXALL system has been proven in practice
The foundation is a single cellar element
Hollow cable holding wall elements and stairs are erected.
The beams for the first floor are installed.
The beams for second floors are added
Roof beams are installed
Panels are fitted
The house is ready.
We called this building system: Plug & Play Housing
The house consist of a frame to which elements are added.
The minimal dwelling is a sort of attic space.
Need extra space?
One floor added.
A shed for the bike added
Second floor added because of boyfriend.
Separated and moved to Amsterdam. Piecemeal building to avoid a big mortgage. The ability to expand the house and to shrink it. Lets go to the AXALL system. |
