[Pillar] [Pillar]

At he moment we have here dynamic stairs, a plug and play doorbell (with sound!) and a universal shelf!

[Pillar] ____Stairs____ [Pillar]

The next open stair from Henke Treppenwerke Luebbecke Germany has a lot of plug and play features. It consists of several elements from which you assemble the stair. You can make any turn you want.

Here you see the backbone of the stair, an element consisting of two tubes.

By inserting tubes, you form the backbone of the stair.

You can adjust the angle and the height with which you connect the elements.

The stair is fixed with plates to floor and upper level.

The handrail consist of links which can be bend in shape. The handrail follows the curve of the stair.

A sleeve completes the handrail.

As you can see this stair can be made to fit without having to cut or saw. It can be easily removed and reused. The only not really plug and play feature is the bolting connection to floor and next level. But the stair itself is very much plug and play.

[Pillar] ____Doorbell____ [Pillar]

This very cute doorbell I ran into while browsing hardware stores in France during my holiday.

The doorbell works with a transmitter, so no wires are needed.

It consist of two elements: a button with transmitter, which is screwed to the door frame and a receiver and bell, which is just plugged into an 220 V outlet. This means an installation time of a couple of minutes.

This is the doorbell plugged in an outlet.

When you have a sound card, click on the picture to hear the sound.

This doorbell is made by Extel.

[Pillar]____Universal shelf____[Pillar]

This is an idea to make a shelve which you do not have to cut to size. It is far from perfect and just to tease you to invent something better. Click on the thumbnails.

This first picture shows the shelf made up of elements of square tubes. Because the tubes are telescopic, you can adjust the length of the shelf.

This picture shows some details.
